1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or otherwise using ROOUNE, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
2. What ROOUNE Is
ROOUNE (“Run With Right People”) is a platform for coordinating and discovering running clubs, runs, and events. It helps you find runners and clubs near you, join or host runs and events, and build a local running community. ROOUNE is a coordination tool — it does not organize, supervise, or guarantee the safety of any run, club, or event hosted by users or organizers on the platform.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account and use ROOUNE. By using the Services, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
4. Your Account
- You may only create and hold one account per person, and it must be in your own name — you may not create an account on behalf of someone else or impersonate any person or entity.
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account.
- You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, including accounts created to impersonate others, evade a previous ban, or engage in fraud or abuse.
5. Community Conduct & Safety
ROOUNE connects you with other runners, clubs, and organizers — often people you haven’t met before — to run together in person. You agree to:
- Treat other members with respect, and not harass, threaten, or discriminate against anyone.
- Use good judgment when meeting new people or attending runs and events, the same way you would with anyone you meet through a public group or activity.
- Not use ROOUNE for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose.
- Report behavior that violates these Terms using the in-app block and report tools; we may investigate reports and take action, including removing content or suspending accounts, at our discretion.
6. Subscriptions & Paid Features
All payments on ROOUNE are processed by Razorpay, a licensed third-party payment gateway. ROOUNE never stores your card, UPI, or bank details.
Plus and Pro. Plus and Pro are one-time purchases that grant access for a fixed period (currently monthly). They do not auto-renew and you will not be automatically charged again when the period ends — access simply expires unless you choose to purchase again. If you purchase Plus or Pro again before your current period expires, the new period is added to the end of your current one (extending your access), rather than restarting it.
Organizer Pass. The Organizer Pass is an annual one-time purchase that works the same way: it does not auto-renew, you will not be automatically charged when it expires, and purchasing again before expiry extends your existing period rather than restarting it.
Because none of these are recurring subscriptions, there is no “cancel my subscription” flow — there is simply nothing further to pay unless you choose to purchase again. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy for how refunds are handled.
7. Paid Events & Organizer Responsibilities
Organizers who host paid events on ROOUNE are responsible for accurately describing their event, honoring the terms they advertise (including any event-specific cancellation or refund policy), collecting payment through ROOUNE’s integrated Razorpay checkout, and complying with all applicable laws in connection with hosting the event. Organizers are solely responsible for the safety and conduct of the events they host; ROOUNE provides the tools for registration and payment but does not supervise or guarantee any event.
8. Run at Your Own Risk
Running, and participating in group runs and events, carries inherent physical risk. Nothing on ROOUNE is medical advice, and you should consult a medical professional before beginning any running program, especially if you have a pre-existing health condition. ROOUNE does not supervise, monitor, or guarantee the safety of any run, club meetup, or event organized through the Services, whether hosted by ROOUNE, another user, or a third-party organizer. You participate in any run or event you join through ROOUNE entirely at your own risk.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ROOUNE Private Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any injury, loss, or damage arising from your use of the Services, your participation in any run, club, or event, or your interactions with other users, organizers, or third parties. The Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent changes. If we make material changes, we’ll notify you through the app or by other reasonable means. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes arising from them or your use of the Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Pune, Maharashtra, India.
